¡Feliz Cinco de Mayo!


The new trailer for the Real Mexican Hero, Machete (previously seen in one of the faux-trailers during Grindhouse). And just look at that cast: Danny Trejo, Cheech Marin, Bobby D., Steven Seagal, and of course, Capt. Frank Lapidus himself, Jeff Fahey (though sadly it looks like they couldn't get Mark Pender back as the guy who shoots Machete; too busy with the Max Weinberg 7, I guess). That's enough to get anyone's beans jumping.

P.S.—For a textbook example of what happens when you completely miss the point of something, take it far too seriously, and have a severely underdeveloped sense of humor—a perfect storm of misinterpretation—see sociopolitical commentator and metallic-headwear enthusiast Alex Jones's take on this trailer. (I guess Linklater hasn't given him a cameo in one of his films for a while, so he has to find other means of keeping his profile up.)

    I'd like to see a post about this. Do you have a list. Do directors first. Actors is a but tougher, but for me:
    DiCaprio, Sean William Scott, Matt Damon, Paul Walker, Brad Pitt .. haha... but seriously
